IIA: Innovation Investment Alliance

Investment Funds | IIA: Innovation Investment Alliance

Driving Impact at Scale

The Innovation Investment Alliance (IIA) was a funding and learning partnership between Mercy Corps Ventures, the Skoll Foundation, and USAID’s Global Development Lab. Through this collaboration, we aimed to support transformative social enterprises on their journeys to scale and to generate practical insights on how impact can be expanded sustainably and effectively.

Together, the IIA committed nearly $50 million to eight high-impact social enterprises around the world — catalyzing systems-level change across sectors and geographies.

Our Portfolio

We invested in eight organizations for their proven potential to scale and tackle systemic challenges such as poverty, climate vulnerability, education access, and financial inclusion.
